Nature Immersion-
Unplug in the desert
Albuquerque, NEW MEXICO, US
(with EcoTripMatch Founder)
Have you ever noticed that you feel better after being outside? Scientific studies are now showing that time in nature can lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve your sleep and creativity.
In this guided experience, you will unplug from the stresses of daily life and enjoy spending time in the high desert foothills of Albuquerque. This is not a hard hike and not really a nature walk either. In fact, we may barely cover a mile and it will involve plenty of sitting. This is good for people of all physical abilities, who might be a little hesitant to explore the outdoors on their own or who want to unwind and slowdown. And don’t worry….this is not religiously based, you aren’t required to share any of your thoughts if you don’t want to and there will be no awkward drumming sessions! Instead, we’ll use the sweeping views of the mountains and valley to hone your quiet observation skills, give you some time to de-stress and perhaps you’ll trip over some emotional insights along the way.
There will be several segments, each with a different focus, and we’ll end with a cup of coffee in the outdoors. The hope is that you will come away feeling a sense of well-being.
